Guardrail/Crash Barrier Roll Forming Machine

Crash barrier or Guardrail is a barrier on a road designed to prevent vehicles from leaving the roadway to improve road safety. Fully Automatic Guard Rail Roll Forming Line can produce 2 and 3 waves guardrail as customer required.

Crash Barrier Roll Forming Machines have been designed for producing w shaped guardrails with 2 wave or 3 waves placed on both sides of highway or expressway.

Structure of Guard Rail Roll Forming Machine

1. Decoiler

• Passive loading with one head on one side
• Max. loading weight: 8000Kg
• Max. Diameter of coil: 1600mm
• Max. width of coiler: 600mm

2. Feeding-in & Leveling

• Metal sheet is sent to guiding wheels (both left and right side are adjustable)
• Metal sheet is sent to delivering roller diameter is 180mm, material is steel S45C, quenched 48°C-52°C
• Leveling is done by three rollers upside and four rollers downside, which are all quenched surface treatment.

3. Punching (both left and right side are adjustable)

• Hydraulic punching
• Diameter of piston: 140mm
• Working pressure: 20Mpa
• Mould material: Cr12, quenched 58°C-62°C
• Power of hydraulic station: 15 KW
• Dimension(mm): 1500(L)X1100(W)X1200(H)

4. Forming

• Main motor power: 22 KW
• Cycloid pinwheel reducer  BWD14-43-45KW
• Transmission: gearbox with universal coupling
• Shaft material: Using high-quality steel 45 quenched and tempered after finishing treatment
• Shaft diameter: 100mm
• Roller material: GCR15, quenched 58°C-62°C, electroplate surface treatment
• Number of stations: 17 stations
• Speed adjusting use frequency conversion, 5m-15m/min (not including punching)
• Frequency converter: Panasonic(380V,50Hz)
• PLC controlling
• Touch screen operation panel

5. Cutting

• Hydraulic cutting
• Material of cutting blade: Cr12, quenched 58°C-62°C
• Diameter of piston:250mm
• Working pressure: 30Mpa
• Working stroke: 80mm
