Snaking (scythe) refers to the bending of the width of a steel coil after a shearing. There are many reasons for this. The general measure is a few millimeter per 2 m.
A: the reason caused by raw materials: the female volume will have the latent residual stress inside the process and the balance is broken when the cutting process is broken.
B: the snake line produced by the burr: when the burr in the slitting process takes place in the winding machine, the thickness of the plate thickens. And the larger the roll, the resulting edge stretching creates the snake line. In the winding machine, it can confirm the thickness of the plate and then use the method of paper clip or split.
C: snake line caused by uneven interstitial imbalance: if the cleft of the knife is larger, the partial indentation will become larger than the small side of the gap of the knife, resulting in the snake line. Especially the smaller ratio of plate thickness and width of steel plate, this causes more snakes. Therefore, the narrow steel belt processing materials should have careful attention.
D: a snake line drawn by a single side extension of the winding machine: when coiling, it is necessary to make the whole tension of plate uniform. Once this tension is focused on the single side, the larger side of the tension will produce a larger stretch and produce a snake. The reason lies in the location of the divider, the pressure adjustment of tension pressure plate and the poor lining. For reference only.
E: the snake line caused by too tight of side orientation setting: when the side orientation is too tight in the longitudinal shear operation, the tension on the side of the contact plate will produce the snake line.
